Default V6CDTi - now getting blue smoke?

Me and my mate were driving on the motorway today and all was well until I decided to floor it in 4th. He was behind me and he later told me that he noticed a bit of blue smoke + the usual grey, as I started to pull away.

The car seems to be running fine. I am losing some coolant though, but there is no excessive pressure in the header tank. Oil looks good with no signs of coolant contamination. At first I thought it was a blown copper injector gasket, but the puff of oil vapours coming from the filler cap has not changed. I never rag the car when the engine is cold and I always wait 2 minutes before turning the engine off after a quick drive.

What could this be? Surely not the turbo, again...previous owner replaced it a couple of months before selling the car. Or am I looking at a more serious issue?

The car has 216900km (135k miles) on the clock, but I checked on OP-COM and it says 242000km (150k miles), so I think the internals should still be in good shape.

Was the engine up to temperature or still warming?
What was the external temperature like?

Smoke on down shifts, after long spells at higher gear, seems quite normal on this engine
Try 6th to 3rd and compare

The engine was up to temperature and has been there for more than 10 minutes.
    External temperature was around 20°C.

If i drive for miles without giving mine the beans, it does chuck out black smoke, with a hint of blue.

My old laguna used to do this aswell... I don't think it sounds too serious.
