    Default The problem has returned!!!!!!

    im in dire straights here men,,,,,,, done me third injector mod 3 days ago,,,had 3 days of perfect motoring and then today,,,,limp mode and spanner light around 12 times today,,,,and a code p1125 on my diagnostic scanner,,,,,i know this is throttle body related,,,,ive already taken off my tb last week and cleaned it and re soldered the joints on the circut board of the tb acuator,,,,,but im still getting the code p1125 and limp mode and spanner light,,,but it only seems to happen every 2 or 3 days,,,then 2 or 3 days of grand driving,,,then back again,,,,,,,anybody know whats going on ???????????

    First of all have the car idling, and feel the plug under the throttle body, dry pressing on the plug a bit (not harsh though), if the engine changes note then you know there is something in the TB that is not correct.

    I have a theory one of your leak off pipes is leaking or one of the crush washes have given up.

    easy to tell, wetnes around the injectors = leak off pipe.
    Burnt carbon / black area around injector = crush washer

    ya it is mate,,,number 3 injector is covered in tar like stuff around the bottom of it,,,but what does this have to do with code p1125????

    P1125 may not be throwing the car into limp mode. Usually P1125 at worst causes the ECU to treat the engine like the throttle control circuit has went open circuit, and leaves the engine sitting at 1,500rpm with the spanner light.

    Possibly, thought the tar stuff you described a few weeks back was on the plug.

    Is the injector wet wuith diesel?
