Default 2.2 direct auto MPG question

I've done a little looking around on here but I would like a little up-to-date info.

What MPG do you guys get doing mainly short trips around town?

    Thanks
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

About 20mpg in my auto, and the clock says average speed about 18mph, thanks to loads of in town traffic lights..

If it's that low then I'll leave it as I'm getting more from my 3.0 Subaru! Never realised they were that bad. Plus it's mostly local journeys that I do, few and far between fir long trips.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Hi ive got 2.2 direct auto, my journeys are short around 1-10 miles with a weekly 20 mile trip to the mothers and I get a return of 29.15 MPG, this has been worked out with an mpg calculator, the cars comp shows 28.8 average.
On motorway journeys I average 34-36 MPG.......oil change 6 monthly, always use super unleaded and redex every 3rd fill up. looks like it helps lol.

Oh I must add I also really enjoy the kickdown and I am no gramps sunday driver haha
