List of Threads That Shouldn't be Allowed

rather than not wanting to see threads like this how about a list of common faults and cures that can be added to by sending info in to the mods, not just strung out then left hidden in the depths of the site

Add to this list new thread subjects that you're sick of seeing as there are soooo many already:

1) What tyres should I get?

2) Should I debadge?

3) What colour for my calipers? (Edit: also ban the post "Where did you get that Halfords caliper paint from?")

4) Does this sound like a blocked EGR valve?

5) What size disks do I need?

6) Why has my insurance premium gone up?

7) What MPG do you get?

8) What's the part number for this bit (that I can remove in 3 seconds and look at the part number written on the back of it)?

well if people dont know and want ideas for solutions.. eg. i dont know what a blocked EGR valve sounds like.. many dont know what size disc they have.

The same with most questions.. maby we should ban questions about banning other questions

I understand that people should use the "search" function a bit more often but looking down that list there are a few questions i dont genuinely know the answer to and ive been a member for a few months now and questions like what colour to paint my calipers are imo specific to the colour and mods of the car and have every right to be asked.
