    Default any 1 in or around glasgow install xp on a laptop for me

    rite guys as per heading its a msi u230 i need xp on it its got a sata hard drive and xp aint seeing the drive on tyring to install its got me beat no floppy drive or cd/dvd rom but i have a usb cd rom so can any 1 in or around galsgow do this for me for some beer tokens or its going to get drop kicked out the window lol

    XP should install fine on SATA drives provided you dont enable AHCI or RAID in the Bios.

    Go into BIOS and disable above, might be called "Native Sata Mode"

    should install after that. If not, google Slipstreaming XP SP3. The drivers for SATA are installed in Service Pack 3.
