I get 29 MPG around town and just got 34 on a 300 mile round trip to the lakedistrict, with some 'spirited' driving

The 2.0T is so versatile you can get anywhere between 18 and 40mpg depending on how you drive it LOL

Seriously, town driving low to high 20's mpg.
Long runs low to high 30's mpg.

Had one for just over 4 years and had a jolly good time driving it.

Around town and short blasts,i mean trips ..low 20's..journeys mid to high 30's although pretty sedate driving.

Thats with the bsr stage 1 etc...

I get 120 miles out of my GSi for the same money.

Ive just done a mixed drive of 120 miles including a bit of fun with a corsa vxr ... My trip computer is saying 33.3 mpg ...

5 mile runs at a time stop start for half of it, and I'm on 30.1MPG, just about to fill up and hit 320 miles. As soon as you start to travel some distance it gets a lot better.

i get about the same as most owners.do about 30 miles a week at moment,so fuel economy not an issue luckily
