Default Wireless WiFi Pan/Tilt IP Dual Webcam Camera

Was talking to one of the guys in work who has just bought one of these FOSCAM cameras for inside and outside his house (different models for inside and out versions). Great system for around the £60 per camera mark (I think the outside cameras are slightly dearer - they are about £10 different). Very easy to install and with the embedded server it’s easy to link into his home wi-fi system.

You get motion detection via email (sends you a picture) and the embedded web server lets you monitor the camera remotely by IE browser or Firefox. He had his set up to work via his iPhone. I don’t know whether the pan/tilt can be done remotely I suspect it can but I forgot to ask. Apparently there are some good free APS to control IP cameras.

I’m going to keep an eye on the prices and see what there are going for.
Only thing that I would like to figure out is how to record the data, as my computer is not on all the time. Not sure if you can send the info to a web storage area

I'd imagine that you could send the captured images to a cloud storage such as Amazons S3, Rackspace or MAXCDN, they are really cheap ways to stream and store data, or send it to a NAS unit, you can get 1TB or 2TB NAS drives quite cheap nowadays, Some of them such as buffalo have webs access aswell so you can log in and view your files / captured images, the only downside is that you'll need to leave the NAS drive powered up 24/7..
