It depends on what you buy - discounts normally apply to service items. (oil, filters, pads, etc)

The vx fully synth oil on trade club is less than £20 inclusive, but has an RRP of over £40. Its a particulalry good buy (and shows how much dealers make on it; they are obviously making a profit selling it to you at £20!)

I had a look at that, it lists 5/30, but doesn't say if it siuts diesel, petrol, or both. Being new to diesels I've been meaning to ask if it's the right one. According to my handbook, 5 litres would be ok in the 1.9 with a filter change, so great buy. Only thing I couldn't find listed was the sump plug O ring.

5l 5w/30 fully synth would cost you around £45, with TC card it's about £18. Can't check the exact prices as TC web site is till not working properly.

If you're wanting to stock up then they have an offer at the moment where you buy 3 x 5l and get a fourth free on any Vx oil through Trade Club.

Everytime i go into my local dealers and try to get something on the trade club i get told you cannot have it...only the registered member who instially set it up has permission todo this at the dealer they set it up at,
Right jobsworth the guy is and a pain in the arse....he then starts banging on about the origonal person who set it up will have a code and we dont have that so cannot do it and it can only be used in the dealership where it was setup,
By this time he's done my head-in and i just walk off thinking what an absolute c...k,

Any offers on this chaps....its 'wilsons in grimsby/cleethorpes'
