    Question Estate tailgate

Anyone else have an issue with this? I really have to slam the bu66er to make it shut properly, have had several nights now where the wife has been into the boot for pushchair or other stuff, then when i come to it the next morning, it hasn't shut properly, the courtesy lights have been on for ages etc.

Is there any way of adjusting the catch or the black rubber stoppers on either side of the tailgate?

Yes this is the only issue we have had with our car. Took it to one dealer they made it worse!, however the second dealer has now made it perfect! So it is adjustable we just let the dealer sort it

I adjusted the latch on the boot floor on mine, it took a couple of goes before I got it right but it is fine now.

    Hi paprapaul.
What I did I got a set of torx ( alen key, the type that are bent 90 degrees) then the torx key will just about fit in the hole without having to remove all of the plastic trim, then I undid the two torx screw,s and moved the plate down a little, then tightened them up again, it is trial and error, if you can put a pencil mark before you start then you will have a guide if you move the plate too much, with the correct type of torx key and a little trial and error you should be able to adjust it correctly, good luck with it any way.
