    Question Electric seats height position

Right guys interior is in at last I just snipped wires and twisted and soldered them to half leather looms, problem now is my old passenger seat wasn't electric eg: hieght and lumber adjustment

Passenger seat is now a little high up and I suppose its because it didn't have electric passenger seat and I'm missing wires to body harness

There's 2 wires going to motor blue/yellow is there anyway of powering motor so buttons will work to lower seat ?

If it's only 2 wires, you should be able to connect them to ignition live so you can adjust when the ignition is on. Either that or they are both +ve wires and the circuit gets it's -ve from the existing wires, not too clued up on powered seats but can't be that difficult to figure out

Ah right, well you'll still need a 12v supply of some sort, either from a battery or 12v power supply, unless you can manually adjust the seat by turning the motor which I very much doubt you'll be able to do.

If it's a grey wire with a yellow band, then that's usually live for interior illumination, are there controls on the seat that look as if they illuminate? The blue could then be the live for the seat controls, and the earth may be connected elsewhere in the seat from the existing loom that's plugged in.

It's a yellow wire in one pin and a grey/blue in the other this is on motor side

Has no one ever fitted electric seats and not had body loom ? Sure it will be the same as veccy
