Default Still got clunking from o/s/f wheel arch.

There's currently a knocking noise coming from my drivers side front wheel area. It only happens when the car's turning to the right slowly. The only time i can get the car to do it is when turning down hill into car park at my work. Apart from that it doesnt happen consistently anywhere else.
I had the car in 2 weeks ago at a dealers who took the car out for a run then inspected it in the workshop. I also took the car out a run with the service manager & there was no clunking. The service manager said they couldn't find anything wrong with the suspension at all & everything looked fine but if it gets worse to bring it back.
It happened last night going into the car park at work & the guys who were standing next to the car when it did it said it sounds as if it's definetly coming from the wheel area & not the top of the strut.
This is starting to annoy me now car's an 09 plate with 40000 miles on it. Anyone got any suggestions as to what it could be?

Is there way to check the strut top bearing other than to remove the strut & strip it down?

I guess I'll just need to keep pestering the dealers until they find what it is. I was going to change the strut top bearings myself but the cars still under warranty as it's not 3 years old yet.
The problem is it doesn't do it all the time & when you want it too (that sounds like something my wife would say)
