it is a saab engine and it does have a dump valve of sorts that can be heard if you use a sports airfilter.. I can hear mine just fine... I would not go fitting an aftermarket dump valve though as your engine/turbo recirculates the charged air into the turbo so that it takes less time to spool up. So if you fit a dump valve you will loose that built up pressure and more than likely give yourself some turbo lag. Extra sound but loss of performance, basically a bad idea, should bought a scooby if you want that stuff going on not a family car..
Do the airbox mod listed on this forum and get yourself a sports air filter like a K&N, Maptun or Pipercross, that way you will amplify the turbo dump sound and help the turbo breath thereby possibly increasing the performance a little.
A couple of guys on here have fitted dump valves though, but whats the point in having the sound if you just get burned off by a lad in a corsa who does not have the dump valve sound..
Agree with Nige... You get a decent sound if, like me, you use a cone filter.
Try a cone first as there cheap & if thats not good enough, then get a decent DV..
This is ALL you need:

I think Bailey do a split dump valve so part of the charge goes to atmosphere while some is recycled back to the turbo. Might be worth looking out for!

Might be that, have a look on Youtube and see if you can find any videos of what it sounds like.
Go for the K&N panel unless you have a heat shield to use.
