    Default CDTi Suspension Upgrade?

I went over a speed bump a week ago too fast and something didn't agree with it... got one hell of a clank. Springs seem intact but now I'm getting a proper knock when I go over speed bumps from the NS front strut. It's probably a top mount bearing or something, but I'll go and get it checked out tomorrow.

The question is... I'm already thinking about upgrading the suspension anyway. Nearly 120k on stock gear and it's starting to feel a little bit tired now. Just about to put 18" VXRs on and don't want the ride too low or too harsh - must be getting old lol!! Don't have a massive budget to throw at this if I did upgrade... so what are the options and rough prices? 1.9 CDTi 150.

    Cheers...

TBH it's gonna sound kinda repetitive but Eibachs and Bilsteins all the way, should set you back about 350 quid but it's arguably the best setup for the Vec C/Signum

I'd say my b4's are softer than my original sri 85k gas struts.

They are?! Not sure I'd want that... would be hoping for slightly firmer than standard with same or slightly lower ride height.

I went for SRI sports suspension, from the stock cdti set up.
What a difference, stable at high speed and the ride is much the same as the height.
