Supermarkets often pump the smell of freshly baked bread into the store, in order to encourage people to buy more baked goods. By that rationale, it would appear my local supermarket is trying to shift more toilet rolls.

We often shop 1am ish at the 24hr Asda, they managed to burn the cherry and/or apple pies one visit, no-one wanted to go within 200yds of the bakery........
