my airbag light came on after my wife clocked up many miles in one week

iv purched a replacement Airbag ECU and had the data transfered over but the light is still on

are my options limited now. ?.. and can i identify the exact cause of the fault ?

Tech 2 would tell you exactly where the fault is, although its also as likely that its a seat plug where she has moved it about or stuck some shoes under the seat.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Yeah not too bad, lift the seat up on its height adjuster to make it easier. There will be a couple of multi plugs under there, one will be for the seat airbag.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

does this airbag light only relay faults from the dash and steering wheel airbags?
