Default low power above 1800rpm eventually resulting in LHM

Low power after the normal boost point around 1800rpm. It's like when my EGR went however this time there is no plooms of black smoke intact the fumes from the exhaust are very clean!

When LHM kicks in which was about after 5 miles I was limited to 3500rpm max.

About 40k ago I had EGR, diesel particulate filter and more.

Plenty of pressure in the turbo hoses!

Any ideas of where to start?

    some use you lot are!

I ended up getting a OP-COM and was VERY pleased with the functionality and features despite the one I recieved having a intermittant fault where it works when it wants to. Seller informed for a swap out hopefully.

So now I have a few errors to work though...

P0530 - A/C Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
    (07) - Not present
    P1482 - Fan Control 2 Circuit Open
    (04) - Present
P0234 - Boost Pressure Control Circuit Positive Deviation
    (5B) - Not present

The last of these seems to be the issue im having based on other users info from this site.

So whats the correct route to follow to fix the problem???

Have you tried clearing faults and going for a drive again to confirm?
Have you checked all the pipes?

After stating to strip the turbo following reading a thread with very similar symptoms my assistant spotted a split cable while i was "head under car"

Sure enough it was the vacuum hose operating the turbo, under high revs it was giving a little vacuum but very little, the hose was right at the point of not functioning at all and only working about 10% of normal function.

£2 of fuel hose (a little thicker than I would like but VX couldn't find let along supply the hose I asked for due to no part number printed) and a jubilee clip on one end due to the size differences and its boosting like a "good'un"

Which of two engines on your profile are we talking about? No need to exclaim how useless we are, just bump the thread as most others do because at time of writing the people who can help may not be available. Also state the engine which is giving you trouble - CDTI 150 I presume?
