    Default Seat removal ?

Are the seats in the insignia similar to removing the ones from a Vectra c ?
Plus unlike the Vectra it seems airbags are not visible is there anything I need to do before taking seats out ?

At a guess, you need to disconnect the battery, wait at least 15 minutes, then disconnect the electrical connectors under the seats.

Anyone know how the tabs on seat tensioners unplug ? Got seats but looks like they ripped the seat tensioners plugs off so need to get mine off and solder on to new seats.

Was thinking of changing looms but tried tonight to remove old loom without success I'm ok till I get to loom that goes into back of seat, then there's no room to find where they go. I presume it's to airbag and lumbar mech.

Now the only plug missing is a small locking tab conector (on phone so can't post pic)
It has 2 wires going to it, now the electrical minded of you could I just snip my old plug off and solder and tape new one on without any problems ?

don't want to butcher the plug off my old seats but don't think I have another option
If I did remove plug would it be ok to solder and tape it up to new seats ?

Solder and heat shrink will likely cause no problems, but I would check what the wire did.... If it was an airbag or tensioner system then I would not do it and I would get a new loom or find out how to strip your seats to get the old wiring....
