Irmscher 3 leg spoiler fixings

Is there a bolt in the middle or is it just bonded?

I've got a rattle coming from the boot lid of my car and it appears the centre leg of the spoiler isn't tight onto the body work

May sound like a real silly question mate, but is it the same with the parcel shelf out?

TBH i've not tried that yet bud but the spoiler is definatly rattling as you hear it when you shut the boot lid.

Not so bothered about the rattle, just don't want to see 300 quids worth of spoiler disappearing off the back of my car

Have you had look when the boot is open M8 cause if it is a bolt will be located inside m8 that where mine are Bud.

Yeah there are 4 bolts (2 at either side) on the outer legs. I wouldn't see the middle one without removing the interior trim

I have the same spoiler mate and have a bit of a rattle, but I have put it down to the parcel shelf, which I need to fix.

John mine is just bolted on the outer legs and bonded on the centre but mines loose as well. Not bothered to re stick yet as i am going to take off to polish up the bootlid first.

Common for the centre part to come loose on these spoilers John, helps that you can then remove it. Mine is currently hanging on by one bolt either side after some retarded idiots decided to push the car via the spoiler

i had a problem with my preface spoiler (irmy 3 leg) it rattled a bit & wouldn't tighten up right... my cure was to remove, then cover the feet with some cut to shape number plate adhesive pads then refit... this worked for me.
