would you buy and use them.
yes
no
would you buy and use them.
yes as long as they look ok
we have had this sort of question before
and every time you buy a used car they will be part worn on them unless you go out and replace them
so iv no problem with using part worn
alls ive used so far on the vec have been part worns.
in my case why pay stupid money for brand new 235/35/19s when i can get the exact same tyre with 6-7mm tread on them for £60 a corner
alex
Maybe, if I knew the firm/prson selling was ok.
i intend to buy part worn snow tyres for my spare steelies for winter
If someone does not think they are good enough for their own car, I don't think they are good enough for mine.
It is slightly different when you buy a used car as the seller is swapping cars not just the tyres.
3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁
It's a really funny thing the subject of part worn tyres. I have used them I prefer to buy new but sometimes chinese ditchfinders and their lack of grip make that the less pleasant choice, so if they are good value and of good quality I say yes.
Put this another way you buy a secondhand car it has tyres on it, what are they then? if not part worn used tyres??????
no one swaps tyres early when you get a part worn you are getting a good tyre that something else has caused the tyre to become redundant as any damage and they are thrown away,
I drive to fast to risk part worns
TBH it is more common than you may think,,,,, if you do your homework before buying. I have a brand new set (delivery from dealer to new owners home only, about 120 miles ) being fitted after Easter I bought off a certain auction site for less than the cost new of 1 of them, at the price, I simply couldn't say no.
