Default Help me find some tyres

    Got a 2004 04 plate Signum 2.2 DTi Design.

Went to STS last week to get a new tyre sorted and i was told the front tyres are wrong and the rear ones have bad camber.

On the fronts i have 205/50/17 winter tyres whilst the back are 215/50/17.

Was told they should all be 215/50/17, is that right?

Was also told they should be W rating, but 91 or 93 or 95?

Also, do i need Extra Load?

Anyone know the cheapest place for them as i'm looking at selling the car in July and my MOT is at the end of this month so need something to get me through and keep going for a couple of months.

Budget, cheap is fine with me as i'm selling the car. Any ideas on where's cheap?

I'm in Ashford, Kent by the way.

Been quoted £221, but was hoping to get for under £200 to be honest.

    Thanks,

    Andy

log on to black circles and have a look. I tend to get a quote from them and then phone the garage directly and see if they can beat or match it.

If you are looking for a decent tyre at good value, do a search for Neuton NT5000 on here and check out Neo brothers website.

Yes you should have 215 not 205, but there's no need for a W rating - your Vec won't go that fast. V is fine.

Seems W works out cheaper than V from doing some searches.

Keep searching - you'll find that V is a lot cheaper at many retailers.

I've been googling all day pretty much, still no luck in finding anything cheaper, for a V or W
