this must bge a scam too cheap
this must bge a scam too cheap
Sounds like it, is it on ebay ??
yep ,but it must be a scam although the seller has 100% feedback
Definate scam.
I'm guessing the original eBay member has had his account hijacked. Possibly not, but it looks that way.
Look at the wording and grammar of the advert description. Simply Awful.
If someone was selling an Astra VXR, quite a rare vehicle by all counts, they would have a better description of it than that.
Also, classic hallmarks of a scam sale of a vehicle on eBay are "Email me to be placed on a pre-approved bidders list" and whats the email???......Yahoo!!!.
Yahoo and Hotmail addresses are commonly used by scammers as they are almost 100% untraceable.
Check his feedback, what little of it there is. He's bought and sold a few low value bits and bobs and most of the sellers/buyers in his feedback are listed as "No longer a registered user".
Its got Scam written all over it!!!.
I've emailed the seller and asked him if I can come and have a look at the vehicle as I'm about 15 minutes drive away from him.
I'm guessing I'll not get a reply.

I think that there's another thread on this but some poor sod actually bought a car, went to collect it with £5000 cash and got held up at knife point. No cash and no car either.
If it sounds too good to be true then it usually is.
its been removed from ebay now GOOD sounded to good to be true.
ooh very sorry for posting the thread! chillOriginally Posted by MLC

Hope the hold up report is grapevine rather than truth.
