    Unhappy Oh No........

I've been looking into this "earthing" problem and my rear O/S indicator not working, and I really hope it aint the ECU!! It is only one light and the bulb defo works because i tried it in the other side.

The indiactor doesn't light when the hazards are on either, so that rules out indicator stalk and/or possible relay problems.

Is there any way to check this without Tech 2, i.e. doing the ignition and acc/brake trick??

This could be a very expensive problem, I hope not..........

are you sure its not the housing unit that the bulbs clip into

best bet is to find someone with a similar car and try there light unit in your car

Took the car for a spin last night,no probs with the indicators now and all is well, looks like an ECU reset was all that was needed. Well happy that i aint looking for a replacement ECU now!! Hopefully it was just a floating earth thats sorted itself, we'll just have to wait and see if it rears its head again.
