Dont think you need anythin mate, clean boxers incase they give you a gown
Hope all goes well
Had a CT scan few weeks ago, they fire dye through you to make sure its all flowing and no blockages, woman never told me about the hot sensation, thought i had peeed myself
make sure no metal in you eg. pacemaker, titanium skull, but apart from that very relaxing oh make sure you like radio 2 it,s seems to be the background music
Had one the other day I have nerves trapped in my lower back plus a hole in my hip, so had to go to Exeter hospital for one.
Nothing to worry about at all but I did have problems getting into it because my shoulders are so broad in the end I had to go feet 1st with arms out above my head and I've found out I'm claustrophobic
They also asked me if I had my tattoos done in uk because some ink abroad use metal pigment and they can heat up in scanner

Nothing to worry about just noise to be honest, jut what everyone mentioned above as its a giant magnet. Takes a while to be honest well it did when my head was done, must of been my vast amount of brain to scan
I've had a couple, just like lying in a pipe whilst someone hits it with a hammer. If it wasn't for the noise I could have nodded off.
I broke my back and have had about 10 mri scans nothing to worry about just a bit noisy and uncomfortable if you are broad!
Results of MRI scan shows I have an exploded knee... That's a full thickness ACL tear... unstable tears in both medial and lateral meniscus... an MCL sprain and extensive pivot shift bone marrow oedema.... basically its knackered... now need specialist surgical opinion on best way to repair damage with future surgery a near certainty...
