    Default foglight?

Just been putting some cheapo new bulbs in my 1.8 LS. Bit more fiddly than i expected, found I had to remove airbox to get at drivers side. Other than that fine, EXCEPT.........I can't find my foglight. I have a switch to switch them on, and I'm pretty sure i've used them, but I can't see any difference when I switch them on now. And I can't find anything under bonnet resembling the picture in haynes manual. There is round compartment for dipped beam, and oval for main beam and sidelight, and little unscrewing indicator. But where's foglight? Anyone care to enlighten me?

Foglights are on the bumper, at the very bottom if you have them. If there's only one switch in the car it'll be rear fogs only...

You're confusing it with the indicator stalk that you use to switch on/off main beam.

nah i think you're confusing me with a bumbling fool....mind you I am the one who spent half an hour looking for non existant fog lamps! I reckon perhaps the headlights flicker slightly when I engage fogs, and that caused the illusion of them getting brighter.
I've never had a car without front fogs before....saying that, they do normally have two switches.
