    Default Crankshaft sensor

Car has decided to start when it wants and not when i want it to, it threw up 2 fault codes 0335 crankshaft sensor and 0070 ambient air temp sensor changed the ambient air sensor and this sorted it for 2 days then came to it this morning and turning over but not firing once again.Would the crankshaft sensor cause this, can't find 1 for 3.2 gsi and is it an easy job to replace ? any help gladly received.

    Default

Generaly they are easy to replace they are held in with 1 screw / torx screw, as to where it would be on the 3.2 though I have no idea. have a look along / just above the sump line and it will just look like any other sensor a wire out the back and a tri angle / square shaped section with a screw through it.
