towbar wiring

hi..

i fitted a towbar the other day and it needs wiring up now..

i know that i have to take a feed off the reg plate lights for the side lights and take a feed off each indicator, but the one i dont know is the brake light..

apparently, i have to take a feed off the centre brake light but iv no idea what colour or where the wire is, so if anyone could point me to it id be over the moon

May i ask.. why you dont get a proper one.. that plugs straight in the REC.. with module?

i dont have a huge budget these days.... and thats probably the reason everyone else wont go to the main stealers to buy bits as you can diy and buy them cheaper elsewhere.

plus i like the buzz of doing it myself.

iv seen the 7 way relay thing so im going to get one and do it that way.

You will need the 7 way relay no matter what because of the bulb warning system, but its dead easy to wire up I will try and get the wiring colours for you tonight mate.
