    Default HELP! Front Bumper

I tried to change my indicator bulbs yesterday. Got the driver's side one done without unscrewing the bumper.
But the passenger side one is now half out, and doesn't work.

    SO. Remove bumper!!

I've unscrewed the screws in the wheel arches, and the four at the top.

Do I need to remove the rivets underneath?
I've tried, but I only have a screwdriver!

It doesn't seem to move, so I'm assuming so.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Hi Wathcman

I changed mine yesterday for chrome indicator bulbs. I took the front bumper completely off as I have done this a few times and find it the easiest way to then get at the bulbs.

You will have to remove the four push clips at the bottom. I start with a flat headed screw driver to wedge them out a bit then I use thin nose pliers to pull them out.

Get some pliers mate and it will be fairly easy to remove them then.

Am I getting the point right? Remove bumper to change bulbs? That sounds hopeless :/

You can take the air box and water bottle out to gain better access but I preffer to take the whole thing off. I can then do a visual check on the front and give it a bit of a clean too.

I managed to change H7 bulbs a few times before. It was a nightmare but somehow I made it without removing anything. Never changed indicators before, but it doesn't sound optimistic

    Sorted now.
Didn't take it off altogether; just dropped it forward so I could move the headlight.

    It's funny.
Once you've done it, it is sooooooo easy to do.

I changed the fog light bulbs while I was at it.

The only tricky bit is that slidy thing at the side of the bumper that the screw goes into.

    Clever that.

    Thanks for the replies.

as you have dropped your Bumper forward make sure that the venting from the bumper for the brakes has been reseated ... look underneath and see if there is anything hanging down or loose on the inner edges of the wheel arch liners

Are they the squarish pipes that go into the wheel arch space?
I spotted them and made sure they were clipped back in.
