Default Test driving a 1.9 CDTI 120 - what should I look out for?

Hi all, great forum! Joined as Im looking at getting a Vectra soon and have about £3k to spend. Seen a couple of 2005(05) V's that are 1.9 CDTI and the 120bhp version.
I am looking at test driving it tomorrow and would like to know if I should be looking out for anything in particular?
    Thanks
    Craig

Full service history is better but if skipped some do make sure it's a smooth ride and negotiate on price.

i have the 120 engine and its a really nice car to drive overtaking is made easy, many on here (mainly the 150 owners) put the 120 down saying its sluggish etc, which compared to the 150 it is but its still not to be knocked for what its capable of, it surprises a lot of cars on the roads

    150 Cdti's coming past you
I've read that the 120's have less to go wrong with them, but since driving a 150,i wouldn't go near a 120,as the standard 150 didn't hit the spot for me i thought it was meant to.

as said a stronger engine than the 150 and the same as any engine service history is a good thing, egr's do coke up but thats about it tbh..

my 120 is as sweet as ever with 76k on it, oil changed every 10k and running @144bhp & 232ft/lb torque with just a few little breathing aid's...

    Update as of today:

Had a test drive this lunch time of one from a garage near work, was OK I thought. Needed a valeting though.

Couple of things were a bit iffy - service history, none apparent when I was there but admittedly I was only there for 30 mins inc test drive.
Slight rubbing noise from rear of car - he said it may have been the brakes and he'd check it out.
N/S mirror glass missing - just not there at all!
Blowers - very noisy as in slight grinding - said again hed look at that.
Boot had a slight dent in it, like thumb sized. few scratches near the door locks (weird, its remote locking...)

Plus side - nice and powerful compared to the Escort I had before! The engine sounded really nice and it pulled like a good 'un
Will have 12 months MOT with it, but only 1 month road tax...

He's wanting £2750 for it but I may try to get that more toward £2500 cos of the service history and scratches. What do you all think? its a 2005 (05) and has 81k on the clock.

I think there's many to look at and you should shop around, All those faults can be fixed but dints are not cheap and the mirror and heater does nothing to give me any confidence sorry.

Price £400.00 off or you walk plenty more vectras.

This is the best I can find close in that area, no mention of work done or FSH though, but pretty low mileage
