CD70 Nav - phone cradle?

Hi,
I've just picked up my 2006 Sri XP NAV and have noticed a phone type connection thing by my hand brake lever, could anyone explain what this is?

Do you have a bluetooth option for your radio? A pic of the connection would be handy.

Vauxhall have a catalogue of phone cradles available which attach to the dock. They charge the phone and use the car aerial for a signal aswell. Only problem is they are only available for older phones the latest is the 1st generation of Iphone, so a couple of years behind. There not cheap either.

I do indeed have Bluetooth which is another question I have, itconnects no problem at all to my work Nokia but I can't seem to get my iPhone to connect, it's an iPhone 3G any advice?
So the dock is in the car and there is options of phone cradles to attach to the dock available from vauxhall?

Is your phone set to discoverable etc? If you play about with bluetooth setting it should connect.

Yeah there is a list of docks available the only iPhone on it is the original one though, i have the full list from vauxhall if you PM me your e-mail addy i will send you it. The dealers are useless if you ask about phone docks i ended up contacting vauxhall who e-mailed me an upto date list.
