Default Right car code reader to Vectra C 2006 ?

    Hi !

I have (or my wife has) Vectra C Z16XE engine, made in 2006. This morning EML light came on. I checked fault codes by pressing brake/accelator pedals and it was P0130, malfunction of O2 sensor in bank 1.

Now I want to reset EML before replacing O2 sensor. What is right code reader/reset tool with right connector type to do it ?

Is it EOBD or CAN or OBDII tool ? I borrowed universal OBD car code reset tool, but connector is wrong (at least what is under ashtray) ?

I would prefer link to correct car code reader from Ebay in UK.

    BR, Jukka (from Finland)

    Thanks for tips.

Do these readers have right type of connector/adapter to Opel ?

On the other words, do you connect these readers in connector under ashtray or somewhere else ?

I belive most cars have the ODB 11 conector so it should fit your motor ok. I bought an Autel MaxiScan (Maxi diag eu702)
    http://www.auteltech.com/
I have re-set codes with it ok.

I managed to connect cheap OBD reader to Opel and reset code P0130. My original concern was that this common OBD connector in not suitable to Opel.

    This MS509 looks multipurpose equipment.

Does anyone experience about OP-COM ?
