Virgin Media users - A Question

Me and the better half have a virgin media package, the tv box is the old one. Now we are upgrading the TV to a HD one, and i was looking into the HD box.

Does
a) anyone have it and if so whats it like?
b) Did you have to pay for the upgrade from the old box to new box? Even though the new box is standard for Virgin users?

We can't really afford a box, and all the other fees, but have a pretty good deal atm but want more HD

I've just dropped the M+ TV from my Virgin Media package
I now have Freeview HD
The only loss is TV On Demand

We are on the basic package, we have just had to buy out the ex of my gf, so money is tight but we have to replace the tv, might as well do it properly!

Depends on what you have just now mate, i can help.

If you have 2 items, i.e TV and BB, and want to add the phone line then yes i can do you a package deal incl HD + Multiroom, 30mb BB + Superhub, ESPN, and all inclusive phone line and rental, £38pm

If you have all 3 then i cant help, but i do suggest maybe calling the retentions folk and see if they can sort you out as you have been offered the better deal from sky with HD

yeah we have the three package, with everything on only £25 a month
