    were do you put gear oil on a vectra c sri please help

    If you mean in the gear box. I put it in through the reversing light switch. But there should be a filler level plug on the side of the gear box.

    No, it depends on which engine and gearbox he has, and at the moment there's nothing in his profile to give us a clue about that.

    Then you've got an F17 gearbox. Remove the oil level plug, which is behind the driveshaft inner joint on the passenger side of the gearbox. Then pour in the new oil through the reversing light switch until it reaches the bottom of the level plug hole.

    Sounds much like my discription, only I did at the time not know the type of gearbox, so could not say where the llevel plug is.
