    Default New inlet manifold,,,,new car !!!!

    well... handed over 650 of my hard earned euro today for a new inlet manifold supplied and fitted to a local opel/vauxhall dealer,,,,,,,, and what a difference it made,,,, car seems to have gained 30bhp more and is alot more responsive,,,,,, happy out,,apart from when i was picking up the car the dealer told me the car needs two glow plugs replaced,,,,, ah well..

    do ya think ?????? the had the car for a day and a half ,,,as the old manifold was very troublesum to try an remove,,,,but ii was only charged for 3 hours labour

    the torque is great,,,,,,,,,,,,but is i just me or are the cdti vectras lacking torque under 2000 rpms ??????

    i got A mental rush of torque around 1800rpm but below that its kinda slack,,,,,,before with the old manifold,,,,it was slack all the time

    no man it shouldnt be, a good mate of mine let me take his for a run last week and the torque is unreal, from 1400/1500 rpm, i feel my 2.2 dti is lacking alot of torque but i havent a clue at this stage.

    Shouldn't be lacking torque, maybe your EGR needs a clean/replace/blank too?
