Default Traction Control Working...Im Well Happy.

Right my GSi didnt have switchable Traction Control so after reading a few old threads i decided to buy the switch and try my luck i picked it up today and i decided to fit it outside my vauxhall dealers( if anything went wrong i was at the right place lol ) i left the keys out of the ignition and i removed the blanking plate (traction control is below the alarm led) and fitted the switch, i started the car and pushed the switch very nervously incase i f*cked any of the electrics lol, and to my suprise it worked as you can imagine i was well happy

Part Number for the switch is: 13182565 cost me £11.15 in total

What difference has anyone noticed in performance terms when they switch TC off?.

My 3.0 has TC and ESP, and a mate of mine who has a 2002 Golf 2.9 V6 Four-motion says his car feels slightly quicker in the dry when he switches TC off?.

no power difference it just means you dont have to worry about the car cutting the power if you change gear hard and causing the wheels to slip
