Default Dial changing/ complete cluster change

Is it right that if you change clusters on the vectra c this should be re calibrated or it can potentially go into limp mode?

It will go straight in without reprogramming but will display the wrong mileage, also you need to stick to the same fuel source as well, ie if you have a petrol then get a set from a petrol car as the tacho/speedo will be out otherwise.

Only drawback is it will log a code on the cars ECU about the wrong security code, but if you get that with the clocks then that can be reprogrammed at a later date.

once you remove the clocks, you can take them apart and remove the pointers and then youl find that the front "peels" off quite easily and could probably be replaced with the sri type.
