    Default Sump plug 2.2DTi

my sump plug is knackered and i now cant get it out, what is better of the two evils of buying a new sump pan or getting a garage to drill it out? or i could drop the sump pan myself and try drill it out my self

Removing a sump full of oil sounds messy. Better take the car to a garage and let them sort it for you

cant you get a pair of mollies on it. i recently changed my oil. i had to warm the engine up before the plug came loose. i had to use a torx socket with a 3/8 drive ratchet with my jacking bar on the handle to give me more leveridge

Mole grips or a good chisel on the edge of the plug.

get the small hand pump and take the oil out through the dipstick hole and let the plug stay in

Or you could remove the oil temp sensor from the front face of the sump and get most of the oil out that way.
