Default My wheels - another marmite moment

OK guys , this for me was one of my biggest projects to date , I know that my tatse isnt the same as everyone else's thats what make us individuals.

So about a month ago I bought some Signa's that were scuffed to pieces with a couple of cracks in the rims

I have come a fair way , rubbed back down to the metal , welded up , filled with a high build primer , and then a couple of coats of 2K black gloss. Applied by spray gun , my first ever attempt at spraying like this.

Then I had always planned to do something a bit different , so out came the silver flake , this was sprayed on in 2k lacquer , followed by a couple of coats of lacquer , the result is as below. I can not say how pleased I am , the picture below makes them look a bit blue , but they are gloss black with a silver flake.

    Look pretty smart Rich

I think the real effect of them will be once they are on the car.

They were in a mess mate, you've done a top job on them. Looking forward to the pics when fitted.
