    Unhappy warning cancellor (capacitor)

    hi everyone, 3 months ago i bought a hid set for my 2003 vectra cdxi from hids direct, apparently the warning cancellor works fine but there is a loose connection on the capacitor..ive emailed hids direct but didnt get any reply..i want to change the capacitor now but dont no if i can only by the capacitor? i dont want to buy the whole set again..

    Hi mate. It took them 4 months and God knows how many emails for them to finally reply to me with what I think maybe a faulty ballast/starter unit.

    Keep on emailing them!

    As for the capacitor, I am sure someone on here will share their knowledge and help you out!

    hi mate
    type into ebay hid warning canceller and theres loads on there for around a fiver a pair onwards its a lot less stressful than trying to get hold of hid direct.

    Just enable Xenon in the UEC of the car.. then you wont need it.. as then the car wont sent the power as "pulses" as thats why it needs it.

    Thats what I have done to mine and a few others now.

    Also meens you dont need the Canbus kits
