Hi Guy's
Can someone tell me if i should have a light on the dash to tell me when the headlights are on as i do not have any light to say there on.
The car is a 2002 vec c ls thank's for your time. Paddy

The dash lights would light up when sidelides are on. If you put the main beam on then there should be a blue light to notify you of this. But no light as such for dip beam though.

In mine (06 Design, facelift) when the sidelights are on the dash illumination level changes to "night mode" i.e. dimmer normally (which seems to be possible to set independent using the level control.)When dipped beam is on the green lighting indicator comes on (full beam is the normal style blue indicator)

Yes all the light are working ok, as are all the fuses,

the green sidelight telltale light is only on the facelift although the blue telltale for full beam should come on when you pull the indicator stalk backwards (towards you)

Thanks for that i am just poping out side to have a look but don't think it comes on.

right just been out & had a look & no blue light but all lights are working ok.
