Default Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres - What a deal!

As I use the same garage for both cars (Protyre - Gupa P, in Plymouth), I would like to think they would be there for me (if ever I had a problem). My car went into the garage today (same as the fiancée's Corsa) and he advised me that the front tyres were getting a bit worn (which I had found out on Friday). He had the perfect deal for me - two fairly new Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres (put on a Jaguar, but the owner didn't like them) fitted all for £60.

I can tell you I was a bit to say the least and I thought "You are ", but deep down I was like!!

Considering its around £55-£60 for one budget tyre I'd be well chuffed with that mate.

Lucky git. I need some new ones but doubt I'll get a deal like that. I hope they were careful of your newly polished wheels when they fitted it!

I did give them a quick going over, but it's hard when you know they are watching and then I feel guilty checking my own alloys lol. Do you want me to have a word at Protyre, see if they could get you a deal?

I'd love it if you could find me a deal!

Currently have Falken Ziex ZE912 tyres and they are alright but seem to have worn out quickly (13 months).

    Tyre size is 215/50/R17

What's your maximum price for each corner so I know not to go any higher? Which garage do you use at the moment? And do you use them all the time?

I tend to use National or a local tyre and exhaust garage in Ridgeway, Plympton. I tend to go for cheap mid-range tyres like Falken and Barum. national are currently doing Barums for £80 each fully fitted.

I have bought from Guppa P before but they were expensive so don't worry if you cant get me a deal.

Alternativley swap your wheels with mine. I saw you eyeing up my SRi Rims on Sunday :-)
