Default Did anyone see this news - HORRIFIED!

I heard this yesterday and it made me sick!

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...ngham-13023189

    and a follow up: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...ngham-13028320

Absolutely ridiculous that someone would want to hurt a defenceless 2 year old baby, regardless of mental health problems as I dont see this as an excuse or a reason!

People like this should be made to suffer.

    Thats horendous.

I have a 9 month old baby and she is amazing. The light of my life.

They dont really say what the circumstances were but I know what its like when, at 2months old, the baby is crying with cholic at 3am and there were times where I couldnt handle it after 3 hours of tears but I still couldnt have hurt her!

When ever it got on top of me I had to walk away for a couple of minutes. Pull myself together and keep giving her as much love and comfort as I could.

I can see how lesser people (who shouldnt have bred in the first place) taking that extra step and harming their child.

I"M NOT CONDONING IT AT ALL. I'm just imagining what kind of person could do that and the situation that blew their very short fuse.

My son is now fast approaching 3 years old and he had immense collic when he was born, so bad that we had to take him to an ostepath to have his cranial bones massaged for 3 sessions and not instead of raging in anger, we were trying to calm one another, or me more than the wife as she was continuous tears!

Unfortunatley i lost a relative in similar circumstances, she was 5, she was my ex's step mums granddaughter, she had been locked in her room, he had jumped on her from a height, beaten with venetian blinds, burned with cigarettes, slept on a matress , and more bruises than anyone could have imagined, in the end he did kill her , he is now in strangways, manchester

These people should be put on an island and left there to rot, along with anyone who interfeers with children
