Exclamation Update on engine light and code

First like to thank the lads that gave me advice about my problem, MIL warning light on. (orange engine shaped light). Received a scanner from Amazon today. Memoscanner u480 sold by BV Electronics, £27.98 including postage. works great and simple to use, anyhow the code is P0546 Exhaust Gas Temp. Sensor Circuit High (Bank1 Sensor1). I take it that the sensor is on the exhaust manifold. Can anyone tell me if its an easy job and if its called the Lamdba sensor.

Lol. Just what I said. Yes it will be the sensor that is on the exhaust manifold at the back of the engine bay. Easy to do matey just un bolt it and replace. All though VX recommend that you replace both at the same time - the second being underneath the car after the cat. But at about £100 inc vat i'd just try replacing the 1 sensor first and see if that cures it. I would buy it from VX as the after market ones are not really up to scratch. HTH.
