Had car from new, Edition 100 2.0t (petrol)now getting the warning light on, the one shaped like an engine. That is the only sign of anything wrong. Performance and everything seems fine. Has anyone had this or got any idea what it might be?

propbably a sensor fault. engine can drop into limp home mode, or it can just contine running as normal..
unfortunately you will need to get it on a diagnostic machine or buy an engine fault code reader. that will give you the answer.
Possibly EGR needs a clean, but as super sleuth said, get the codes read if possible
If the 2.0T is the Z20net, then i dont think its fitted with a EGR mate.

It's the Emissions light, could be MAF or Lambda Sensor. Z20NET does indeed NOT have an EGR.
Thanx for the info lads, just ordered a code reader off Amazon, should be here by the end of the week, will let you know how it goes, by the way were do you plug it in?
knowing the Z20NET it will definately be a lamda sensor 100%
Thanx for the extra info will keep you all posted cheers.
