    Default Auto Lighting Control

    Right lads and lasses,

Hopefully getting my facelift Veccy by the weekend. So i have got my modding head on already. I know things are going to be more difficult on the facelift but i wonder if these couple can be done:-

Automatic lighting control, would need the different switch and probably a sensor.

Also i would like to do the cubby under the light switch, for this one i reckon i'd have to buy the cubby and the panel with the hole in to replace mine without. Can you pre facelift guys check that is all that would be required.

    There's a couple for starters.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

Don't think this is easy; read it somewhere on the German Motor-talk forum. As far as I know the sensor is near the rain sensor..

Is that possible? Replacing "The panel with the hole in" would mean replacing the whole part under the steering wheel... and what if the space under the switch is taken by something else?

The coin tray is possible, but you do have to change the whole lower dash panel, and it isn't cheap, I priced it up ages ago, I cant remember now, but IIRC it was getting near £100 buy the time vat/del was on the parts, ****** expensive coin tray imo, and not worth it, so I didn't bother.

ALC looks near on impossible. I've just read the same thread on a German forum. Coin holder possible from a scrappy then. Is it just a matter of trim below the steering wheel and the cubby GG?

Just read in your signature that the new one will have AFL... then you will also have ALC, isn't it? Over here AFL-bi-xenon comes in combination with rainsensor, ALC and auto-dimmed mirrors

Motor-talk is the best, but difficult to search for something
there is also a FAQ and a TIPS&TRICKS-thread, but you all know that stuff already

I'm pretty sure that AFL is standalone. I might be wrong but afl does not incorprate alc. Not in the UK anyway. When you go to options on the Vauxhall site it mentions afl but not rain sensor and alc.

    I'll find out soon enough!

Motortalk is pretty good if you can get decent translation.

Just checked the Vauxhall product forum and alc & rain sensors aren't even an option on sri's.
