19" wheels.. what do I do next?

Hi all, after my mullings over last week think Im going to save and look for some 19" snowflakes as I think they look the business..
What do I need to get done to fit them (if anything) or will they go straight in?

im pretty sure that the track rod ends need upgraded to cope with 19" wheels as ive heard it mentioned before in a previous thread

it has been mentioned that VX put uprated trackrod ends on at the factory if you specc'd 19's..

but VX only list one part number in the spares book for replacements.. I don't know anyone who has put 19's on their car and had the trackrod's fail..

aha i was right! it makes you wonder if they do upgrade the track rods when speccing 19`s if theres only one part no listed!

Ahh nice one, good to hear. the easier the better in my mind! Been reading about lowering springs aswell, but it already has Sri suspension and the change from 17's to 19's will fill it out a bit more anyway I would have thought..

i think they are the same overall size.. they just lower the tyre profile..

they do look good thou...

I didn`t uprate the trackrod ends when I put them on ... No problems with mine.

If you have an sri you don't need to worry about upgrading anything

it's only if you have a lower spec model that problems can occur when fitting 19's

Hi just wondered if i put 19's on my 52 plate vec elegance will this effect the trackrod ends or am i better having 18's cheers....
