Detailing/Socialising/Modifying/BBQ Meetup At Our Place - Any Interest?

Being as the weather has improved and is now beautiful and Amy and I have just gone out and bought a new jumbo sized BBQ, we figured we'd hold another of our BBQ/Detailing/Modifying/Social meetups at our place if anyone's interested in one.

Anyone who's been to the last couple held here knows the layout, we have a smallish house, but with a reasonable sized garden, two spaces on our drive in front of the house and plenty of parking both in our road and the other side roads. Historically we've kept these fairly smallish but thought what the hell and will open this up to anyone and everyone that wants to come.

Everyone welcome, bring some grub along (we'll lay on plenty as usual, but be nice if others helped with it). There'll be mains power and a jetwash outside along with all sorts of tools for people that want to do stuff and hopefully plenty of people on hand to help with things

Provisionally we were thinking of doing this either next Sunday (17th) or the Sunday after that (24th) or is that too short notice for people? Happy to look at other suggested dates if there's interest.

Very good of the two of you to open your home (or garden) to what could well be thousands of strangers lol...

Sounds like a good day, probably a bit far for me lol but hopefully you get some interest in your hospitality.

Lol, I think if it ran to thousands we'd be in trouble but as the biggest "smaller" meets usually run to nothing like that, we should be ok

If suddenly the whole forum decides to come then we may have to re-think where to hold it but lets see who's interested first lol

Thought I'd like to introduce myself...

I met some of lads last year at the Brentwood show. They were all very nice and welcoming.

I would love to attend your Detailing/Socialising/Modifying/BBQ Meetup, as I think it sounds like it would be a fantastic day.

.........also would be excellent to get a helping hand from all you knowledgeable guys and dolls of the Vectra C forum with changing my chrome grill as I don’t have a Scooby Doo how to do it!

Unfortunately I cannot make those dates, but keep if you can keep me updated on any future events, that would be great!

If was available on either of those two dates i would have driven up from Dorset to join you.. sounds like it will be a craking day and would have been well worth the drive.
