    Default DTuk digital goodies

Just got hold of a new digital unit from Andrew at dtuk called a pedalbox which plugs into your throttle pedal. The good news is you can now tune up your throttle response with 4 mapping options with 6 fine adjustments on each setting.I have mine set on the sports mode at the moment which has made an improvement on the throttle response.
Not had time to play with other settings but the next one up is sports+ which will be even quicker.Easy to fit as all you need to do is pop off the plug at the base off your throttle pedal and plug it into the pedalbox which then plugs back into your pedal. Also has an ECO mode which might be good, seeing the price of fuelat the mo.Also got one of DTUK's RED power plug+play units OMG damn fast now but more important it's so nice to drive with a very good MPG return whilst hooning around.NOT everyone's cup of tea i know but if thinking about one and not an ECU remap give Andrew a call, top chap to talk to and very helpfull.

So it's similar to the sports button but unlike the sports button (with IDS+) it only changes the mapping of the throttle and not the suspension, steering and brakes? Just curious but is there a need for such a unit? What are the benefits?

For a full technical answer would have to pass on that one as don't know what it's like to drive with a sports button fitted as only got the design model signum!! Not fitted with one.But to people who want a bit more of a livlier throttle on a sort of budget it might be worth a look.Ok it won't tweek your steering and suspension but hey your the lucky one's.Only a wee jealous

    Hi john
Don't really see why this unit should only be for a cdti as it only fits to the throttle pedal.
But to give a better answer give Andrew a call at www.diesel-performance.co.uk
    Hope this helps you out.
