Default Clonking on full lock - CV joint?

    Hi guys,

Me cars making a clonking sound when the steering is on full lock.

My guess is it's the CV joint. Anyone any ideas on how much this'll be to fix please?

    Cheers
    Grant.

Might not need a new CV joint, if the boot has split and it's only just started knocking on full lock, a new gaiter and grease should sort it ok, been there many times before with Cavalier J, used to split em on a reg basis.

Thanks guys for the words of wisdom and support, as always!

My neighbour over the road is a mechanic so might get him to have a butchers at it to confirm what's required.

Cheers Mark on the offer buddy! - I'll let you know!!!!
    BTW, I'm in Bromley, Kent.
