Air-Con packed in! No power to compressor, fuses ok.

Damn this car. Think it know's i'm getting rid of it next week as it's falling apart around me!

To add to the list, went to use the air-con today being the hottest day of the year and now that has packed in!

Have checked all the fuses in the numerous fuse boxes Vauxhall decided to fit and are all ok. The clutch on the compressor is not kicking in. The switch on the dash is lighting up. Removed the plug from the compressor and tested with a test lamp but nothing. So this is where I am now stumped.

• Switch lights up.
• All fues ok.
• No power to compressor.

Deep flippin joy. Any ideas you lovely people?

no gas the a/c won't switch on any way. leak i expect

If there is no gas then it won't fire up, when was it last re-gassed as it's normal for some cars to need done every 2 years

Had it 4 and a half years and never had it gassed so not too bad i suppose.

Oh well, not gonna pay for it to be done, she's going next weekend.
