Hello
I need to tighten up my drivers side Fog Light (I have an ELITE, different shape fog to everyone else).
Question .... Do I need to take the full front bumper off to tighten up the Fog Light (It is a bit loose at the moment)?
Thanks

not really but it makes it a lot easier, especially if its the bolt at the top. Oh and btw, they are torx heads.
Andy,
For the bumper removal, the plastic rivet type things, push them out are they easy to re-use?
The flat head is facing the ground, how did you get behind it to force it out?.
I was fishing under the car this afternoon sizing the job up when I found a torx screw with a washer attached
Is there just one multi plug to disconnect for all front bumper electrics (oats and fog lights)? this is visible by the passenger side of the radiator?
Will give it a go tomorrow.

PS, do your ELITE fogs get misty?
the balck rivet things.... they have a small bit in the centre that pushes upwards (with a pointy tool eg screwdriver head etc), letting you pull the rivet head down, if you see what i mean?
yes theres only one multiplug, on the passneger side of the car.
my fogs dont mist up, in fact theres absolutly nothing wrong with car at all yet (touch wood).... no common faults, nothing....... its kinda un-nerving
Hi Andy,
Gr8 news about your car ... have you checked your dipstick (should be Part # 55200224 not 55188282) Field Remedy 1804
Also,
Where are the rivets by the headlights for removal of the bumper.
Cheers .... again
Denzo
not touched my engine, which is probably why it hasnt broken yet lol......
the rivets are literally on teh rad side of the headlights on the top of the bumper. They just unclip and pull out.
Done it ....
Andy's guide was excellent did exactly what it said in the thread
I found out that my front fog light was missing a screw .... the one I found the other day, re-fitted and it now is secure.
I actually bought 4 x new push /plugs (the ones that fit under the engine and hold the bumper to the bottom of the engine) only 15p each from Vx.
also bought a litre of Long Life Diesel oil £7.70
Denzo
glad you got on ok.... another happy customer
